Bye Bye Travis... going to miss the crickets

Sold out and screwed in more ways than one. Seduced. Sold out. And soon to be abandoned Travis Coffman gave his verbal notice to K57 management that he intended to leave the second week in November.
Word is that management - along with all others who quit listening to K57 - are so happy now that they may have a chance to actually get some advertisers and possibly even listeners to his time slot as it is Ray Gibson is the only one making money for the am station.
Most afternoons anybody who can stomach his show will hear him talking and him talking rambeling and that is about it as nobody hardly ever calls his show. So instead he spends four hours spreading lies for Calvo Tenorio as their online hack due to the fact that his fiance and most of her family is employed by Calvo. Anybody who dares call his show that is not a Calvo phone banker is belittled and treated so badly that people just stopped listening. Hence the crickets chirping all afternoon on his show. Why the second week in November? Well by then he would have spent the last year being a free advertisement for Calvo and he wants to go work at adelup as an unclassified or contract employee with his fiance. Problem is by then who knows how well things will be going. It doesn't take a birthmark in the inner thigh to point the way to the Mafnas of a woman.

Gross and creepy

Is it just me or does anybody else get grossed out with this picture? Ummmm he looks a little too excited in this picture with these teens. I know I know but seriously. Ewww.

Shame on you Calvo Tenorio

Some things are just sacred and should never have politics brought into them. For many who attended the annual Manenggon Memorial Service yesterday, the talk was about how disgusted everyone was with the Calvo Tenorio Team for pretending it was a village meeting and "showing their campaign colors."
This portrayal of politics at such a solemn ceremony is a complete shame and the Calvo Tenorio team should be ashamed of themselves. Of course, it all comes from the top and the fact that Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio were not ashamed of this show speaks volumes.

Port GM commits fraud

The Port Authority of Guam is using government funds and government workers on the clock to prepare the agency's Liberation Day float for next week's parade.

These photos were taken on duty Tuesday afternoon building the float inside the newly renovated Container Freight Station Building, also known as the CFS building. All of the employees working on the float were being paid during their work on the float.

Port General Manager Joanne Brown sent a memo to the Board of Directors dated June 18, 2014 noting that the Port had created a Liberation Day Committee to construct the float. Brown further states a "request is being made in the amount of $2,500.00 to support the necessary supplies and materials." With some questioning by board members at the June 25, 2014 meeting they eventually approved the request.

The Port is always asking the Public Utilities Commission to raise their rates because they need more money for port operations yet they can afford money to build a float and pay employees on the clock to build it. The Port has always had the employee association take up this cause in the past and fund the float. The employees also volunteered their time to build the float when they were off duty. Of course that was when there was high morale at the port and the Port Strong spirit was alive and well. Times are different now

The employee who submitted these pictures says using these employees during working hours could be considered fraud since the Port is billing the agents for the work those employees are allegedly conducting on the ships. The employee adds that the use of the employees on the float doubles the work load of those not on the float detail.

"I feel that the guys working on the float during vessel operations is wrong because they charge the agent for a set amount of workers to work on the vessel and we don't meet that requirement," the employee said. "Also those of us who do work against the vessel have to work twice as hard to make up for those who are working on the float."

More Calvo Lies.....

The most ridiculous video was posted yesterday by Eddie Calvo
He claims (please don't laugh) that it is Governor Gutierrez who is asking people to vote for him if they were hired during his previous administration. Okay, since even Eddie Calvo in this dumb video doesn't appear to believe what he himself is reading in the script, I will give him some facts here about his own administration the Calvo Tenorio regime.
** Martin Benavente director of Guam Housing will ask people to vote for Calvo Tenorio and put signs in their villages prior to signing any  lease of loan documents
** Head of AHRD doing the same thing
** Port Deputy General Manager Felix Pangelinan is outright telling employees they have to vote for Calvo Tenorio and reminding them they were given increments and merit bonuses so they have to vote CT
** Public Works director is strong-arming all their employees recently hired and promoted that they pay back is to support CT
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Eddie Calvo is telling everyone on guam they should vote for him because he gave them tax refunds.
--- First of all that is OUR money you imbecile and it is your JOB to give it to us
---- you fought the court case all the way that made you pay out the refunds - and continue to fight it today - and now you want to take credit?

Videos like this crap are the reason this blog was created. I feel like I lost brain cells just watching your dumb video statement.

TALOFOFO... not TALIFOFO

Well it is about time. I was wondering how long it would take the Calvo Tenorio team to figure out that the village is actually called TALOFOFO. That's okay. Probably don't leave their mansions much to head down south anyway. Thanks for fixing it. Moving on.

In Memory of ............

Yesterday there was a State of Guam funeral for the late Senator Ben Pangelinan. Many things he will be remembered for but one of the most important was that he fought hard to protect our tax refunds. He fought that battle up until his very last day. We will always remember that Senator thank you.

Eddie and Ray

Adelup photographers were kind enough to provide us with a picture of Eddie and Ray having a meeting together at work.

Calvo Tenorio Paid Ad Above Editorial Slam

Ladies and Gentlemen, today's editorial bashing the Calvo Tenorio Administration for falsely and wrongly claiming our government finances are in order is brought to you by none other than - The Calvo Tenorio Campaign!
Now that is funny!
The text of the editorial in today's PDN is below:
While the Calvo administration touts that the government of Guam has a double surplus, it isn't a reason to celebrate given the many community priorities that continue to be shortchanged.
Gov. Eddie Calvo and his managers have been trumpeting the government's improved finances -- the payment of past-due tax refunds, an improved cash flow, elimination of the deficit and the surplus. But the price of that is continued inadequate government of Guam services.
• Crime continues to worsen. We are seeing more violent crimes, such as rapes, armed robberies, home invasions and murders. Yet we still are significantly below the number of patrol officers we need for our streets. The administration did form a task force, which pulled existing enforcement resources from the police department and other agencies, and has plans to hire more police officers, but no significant hiring has happened this year.
• The Office of the Attorney General doesn't have enough prosecutors to handle its current caseload. At times, prosecutors haven't been ready to proceed with cases or have dropped the ball because of shortfalls, leading to cases being dismissed.
• The island's prison system is overcrowded, old and undermanned. There aren't enough corrections officers, and those we do have often have to work long overtime hours.
• The Guam Department of Education struggles to keep facilities maintained and can't meet its budget with the restrictions imposed by the administration. The current fiscal year budget doesn't even meet the bare minimum the school system said it needs for basic operations.
• Guam Memorial Hospital still hemorrhages money and owes vendors and other debt, which affects quality of care and public confidence in the facility.
Elected officials are quick to identify the island's top three priorities: education, safety and health. Yet resources in these areas remain woefully short.

The administration shouldn't be celebrating improved government finances until spending decisions align with the community's top priorities.

Because I can't stop looking at it...

You know when you watch NASCAR on TV and really the only reason why you are watching it is to see if they crash? That is the same feeling I get with this picture and for some reason I can't stop staring at it. Seriously though, Eddie Calvo's people are intentionally posting this picture of him on their FB page. Seriously. I am not kidding.

Calvo targets more Port employees

So the plot thickens between the Port and Adelup.
Word is now that Eddie Calvo and his thugs are targeting two managers at the port whose families are known to have close ties to former Governor Carl Gutierrez.

Rumors are circulating that Adelup will fire Operations Manager John Santos....

As well as the well-liked maintenance manager Ernie Candoleta....
And surprise surprise new port employee Ken Calvo (note last name of CALVO) will be given one of their jobs since he has been bragging about it for weeks now especially in the campaign circles of CT
This is Ken Calvo, remember him from the NEWS? He was fired from GPSS where he was "in charge" of all facilities and actually did not ever come to work instead played golf all day. He got fired, Eddie Calvo hired him at the Port and is now getting rid of life-long port employees who have worked their way up through the ranks to get to the current positions.

This is the loser that will get one of their jobs. Ken Calvo.....
Will this crazy politicall-manipulated corruption by Calvo at the Port ever end?

Speaker Ben Pangelinan passes away

A tragic and sorrowful day today as Guam lost one of the best leaders of our time Senator Ben Pangelinan. I am gathering my thoughts on this matter but in the meantime i have a warning for Adelup
- DO NOT ISSUE ANY OF YOUR FAKE INSINCERE BULLSHIT STATEMENTS ON BEN. THOSE OF US WHO KNEW AND LOVED HIM REMEMBER EVER SINGLE THING YOU EDDIE AND YOUR GIRL SPOKESMAN TROY TORRES HAVE SAID ABOUT BEN.
HAVE SOME RESPECT AND STAY SILENT.
IF I READ ANY FAKE CRAP I WILL REMIND EVERYONE OF WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT BEN.

LEAVE HIM IN PEACE ADELUP

Maybe the selfie contest wasn't such a good idea....

Take a selfie with Governor Calvo, their campaign ACTUALLY encourages this.
Let's see here are some of the "selfies" they are posting on their campaign FB page, the images of the innocent alongside Eddie in these pictures have been removed...

Ummm... IMHO maybe this "selfie" with Eddie contest wasn't such a good idea.

GMH Clearly Heading in the WRONG Direction

From KUAM News tonight

GMH's flatlining finances go from bad to worse

Posted: Jun 30, 2014 12:24 AM PDTUpdated: Jun 30, 2014 12:46 AM PDT

by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - According to an audit released late this afternoon by the Guam Office of Public Accountability "fiscal year 2013 was a challenging year for the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority as inadequate cash flow severely jeopardized GMHA's operations and its ability to provide basic, appropriate patient care.

The report went on to state that for the first time auditors in its unmodified opinion for FY13 emphasized that GMHA has incurred recurring losses and negative cash flows from operations that raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.

The report described how expenditures have steadily increased over the last five years but in contrast revenues declined. Auditors also noted how operating losses since 2009 went from $6 million to $34 million in FY2013. Operating losses according to the report are unsustainable without significant increases from the General Fund. According to the Guam OPA GovGuam must provide financial support for the hospital's services to self pay and uninsured patients, which represents 13% of GMHA's billings. The audit provided a litany of other problems: such as cash flow shortages continuing to have an impact on the hospital's ability to meet payroll and make timely vendor payments, health insurance rates not being adjusted since 2006, and problems such as the GMHA Healthcare Trust and Development Fund which provides revenues from gaming activities not living up to expectations.

Hospital administrator Joseph Verga was still reviewing the audit and could not provide comment today. You can read the audit at GuamOPA.org.

Don't believe everything you see.

The Calvo Tenorio team wants the people of Guam to think that the Gutierrez Gumataotao team is vandalizing their signs.

They are even taking pictures of the vandalized signs and sharing them on their official campaign social media sites.

While this is a clever attempt to turn the public tide against the GG team in reality it is the work of the Calvo Tenorio team themselves.

Led by John Mafnas and assisted by numerous others including Natalie Quinata the CT team has what they are calling a "War Room" at a not-so secret location at the Cen Tam building in Tamuning. These people are paid big bucks to sit inside this "secret" office and create chaos. Just like they did in the last campaign with Mana Silva and in the last gubernatorial campaign with their vicious and personal attacks against Mike and Jennifer Cruz as well as Jimmy Espaldan and his family.

You see Eddie Calvo may say he is running a clean campaign but in reality they are funding these thugs to twist the truth, lie, manipulate the public and try and sway voters opinions with their sleazy tactics.

Keep it going Cen Tam Crew. You have a leak in your battleship and the fun has not even begun yet.

Shady Shady Shady CT

So the Calvo Tenorio team today issues this ridiculous completely insincere statement upon the news that Senator Ben Pangelinan is in the Intensive Care Unit at Guam Memorial Hospital (prayers your way ben).

Anyway, after fighting Senator ben on EVERYTHING he has tried to accomplish the Calvo Tenorio team issues a public statement (completely ignoring his wish for his situation to be private and in fact CT pushed KUAM to do the story in the first place) “Lord send your angels to give him strength.” Yeah okay.

Anyway, after exploiting Senator ben Pangelinan’s health, the Calvo Tenorio team in what is one of the shadiest dirties moves of this campaign, launches their “Chamorro Land Trust Campaign” initiative that will run today through the next few days. Now excuse me for this next rant which will be in all caps.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? THE CALVO TENORIO TEAM DID THIS ON PURPOSE KNOWING DAMN WELL THAT SPEAKER BEN PANGELINAN IS IN THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. HE IS THE ONE SENATOR WHO HAS CONSISTENTLY PUSHED FOR THE CLTC AND PROVIDED ASSISTANCE VIA FUNDING AND LEGISLATION. IN FACT, EDDIE CALVO REFUSED TO SIGN BEN PANGELINAN’S BILL INTO LAW AND INSTEAD BEING A BRAT LET IT LAPSE EVEN THOUGH IT HELPS THE CLTC AND THE GRASSROOTS RESIDENTS.

So, how very clever Calvo Tenorio. As soon as the news hits that Speaker Ben Pangelinan is sick, you leak the story, get is plastered all over the news despite his wishes and then launch your spin on the Chamorro Land Trust Commission knowing Speaker ben is not feeling well and can’t defend or challenge you on these issues.

Shade. Shade Shade.

That’s about as slimy as it gets.

Keeping it clean, huh?

Well #JSYK the public is not blind to your shady manipulations and cowardly campaign gimmicks.

What did Wil do?

Personally, I have no problem with Wil Castro. Seems nice enough, smart enough and might even make a good Senator.

So what in the world did he do to make the Calvo Mafia mad? Rumors are flying that Mr. Castro has been blacklisted by the Calvo Tenorio team and even some of his own people are confirming the rumors and are pretty mad. I guess having a smart, talented aggressive candidate is a threat to some of the Calvo Tenorio puppet candidates. Maybe they plan on pulling a "Mana" on Mr. Castro and will replace him with one of their favorite Calvo-funded candidates.
Hmmmm.......

What the ???????????????????

The Gutierrez-Gumataotao game-changer

MARIANAS VARIETY
MONDAY, 23 JUN 2014 03:00AM

BY RON MCNINCH

THE Gutierrez-Gumataotao team is now openly on the campaign trail. With about 130 days left to the general elections, this will be an abbreviated and intense campaign cycle. I attended the June 21 meeting, and it was a very nice and well-attended event. I took selfies with both Gutierrez and Gumataotao, and signed several petitions. By the way, I take selfies with all candidates and sign everyone’s petition.

In terms of a campaign strategy, the Gutierrez campaign will likely rely on an unconventional or special-operations model rather than a conventional campaign. By doing this, they will change the game. Special operations are low-cost alternatives to normal strategy. Before William McRaven was an admiral and in charge of the U.S. special operations community, he wrote a book in 1995 entitled, "Spec Ops: Case Studies in Special Operations Warfare Theory and Practice." In this case study-filled volume, McRaven lists the six important elements of a special operation as surprise, speed, purpose, security, repetition and simplicity.

In simplicity, the goals are to limit objectives, use good intelligence or information and also use innovation. In the coming months this design will become clear. In security, the goal is to limit information interface and limit external views or interference. In effect, this is like in poker where we don’t let others see our cards. In repetition, the key is practicing to the point that things are second nature and realistic preparation. This is often referred to as the “Gutierrez Machine” and to be frank, it is a well-organized structure with village-level depth. In surprise, the goal is striking at a place or time where the opponent is unprepared. The later-than-normal announcement and the lack of overt action by the Gutierrez camp are right out of Sun Tzu’s 550 B.C. treatise, The Art of War. “Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.” Speed involves achieving objectives quickly and moving on using as few resources as possible to increase speed. Purpose involves a clear mission and personal commitment. There is no question of mission and commitment.

So the 2014 election cycle for governor will be different. There was abundant energy in the Gutierrez-Gumataotao camp on Saturday and this will also help the senatorial candidates. This really was a game-changing event for this election.

I'm going to call Bulls%*t on this one

Again, Spin.
Calvo says Gutierrez is launching "personal attacks" against him. Huh? By saying that he, Governor Gutierrez, is a grass roots Governor?
SPIN SPIN SPIN

My favorite quote from Calvo is that he "doesn't boast" about helping people.
Ummmm... all Calvo does is boast. Boast about giving away tax dollars that he was forced to do by court order. Boast about cutting the ribbon on projects started by Governor Camacho.
Oh, and my favorite is how Calvo reminded everyone again that he is running a clean campaign.
Please click on this link below where Calvo outright attacks Governor Felix Camacho
BRING IT

Here is the story tonight where Eddie tries to SPIN more of his propaganda.
Calvo addresses attacks, untruths

Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo says he'll be running a clean campaign and recently launched a new feature to their campaign called "Just So You Know" addressing personal attacks and untruths. Governor Calvo addresses statements by the opposing party who he says are alleging that the Calvo-Tenorio team is "not in touch with the grassroots and that they turn people away." Calvo says that is not true he adds his try and help people everyday. He says "if the opposition doesn't hear about it, it's because we don't boast about it."

One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite Senators.

I am sure he will do well in both elections and I am glad he is running again. Solid man with solid ideas.
Please keep him in mind.

Federal investigators descend on Guam ....

What is hoping to be a major secret is now not so secret.

A team of investigators from the federal Inspector General's Office of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development  arrived on Guam last week to investigate this controversial deal at GHURA involving the Calvos and Coretech (yes i know, them again).
Click this link for PNC story

According to the Pacific News Center: "The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority board has approved the sale of Great Homes to Coretech in effect allowing the transfer of millions of dollars in federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Coretech previously bought out Tower 70 and took over their tax credits.

Coretech has bought out Great Homes and the GHURA board has approved the transfer of Low Income Housing Tax Credits to Coretech. In 2012 Great Homes was awarded over $2.9 million dollars in tax credits over ten years which amounts to over $29 million dollars in tax credits to build a total of 81 homes along Rt. 9 in Dededo near the Starts Guam golf resort.

"The terms and conditions of the award still remain in place. The number of units to be built still remain at 81. The completion date is still December 21st 2014 and all the other terms of the award remain in place as well,” explained GHURA Executive Director Mike Duenas.

Last year the GHURA board approved a similar deal in which Coretech bought out Tower 70 which is another company that was awarded tax credits to build affordable homes. Tower 70 was awarded over $2.8 million in tax credits or over $28 million over ten years.

The awarding of these tax credits to both Great Homes and Tower 70 has not been without some controversy. In fact, a company named Medallion and Carlos Camacho who is the Executive Director of the Micronesia Community Development Corporation both filed protests after the credits were awarded. GHURA's selection committee had originally picked Medallion as the number one ranked applicant for the tax credits and had ranked Camacho's two applications as number two and number three. Great Homes and Tower 70 were ranked as the number four and number five applicants respectively. However, the board disqualified Medallion and the number two and three ranked applicants and instead gave the tax credits to Great Homes which was owned by Catholic Social Services, Jones & Guerrero and the Calvo Finance Corporation and Tower 70 which was owned by Robert Salas and Keith Farrel.

In March of 2012 then GHURA Executive Director Marcel Camacho submitted his resignation citing "irregularities" with the awarding of these tax credits. Camacho also said he alerted the "proper authorities." Then in April of 2012 PNC reported that the FBI was looking into the matter and Camacho's replacement Ray Topasna had been questioned by the FBI. Topasna was later fired by the GHURA board and then replaced with the current Executive Director Mike Duenas. The GHURA board stated that Topasna's termination was unrelated to his handling of tax credits.

During a board meeting in November of 2012, GHURA Board Chairman Dave Sablan said that the protests were not followed up on and were effectively abandoned thus they moved forward with the awarding of tax credits and now the approval of the sale of these businesses and the tax credits to Coretech international and it's partnering non profit org called Guam Self Help Housing Corporation of which Tony Sgro is a board member.

The approval of the Great Homes sale did come with some conditions. For example a 30 year extended use period must be observed. "The extended use period basically says that they will rent the units to income eligible families for 30 years after the initial 15 year period,” explained Duenas.

This means they will have to lease out the units at affordable housing rates for a total of 45 years. Duenas says that the board concluded that allowing this sale would be in the best interest of the island but the approval is also subject to final legal review. "The Internal Revenue code is kind of complex so we are working with our lawyers to make sure the change is in conformance with the regulations,” said Duenas.

In fact the GHURA board has has had it's attorney's review all of it's decisions and has stood by all of it's decisions with regards to the awarding of these tax credits. Board Chairman Sablan has also defended all decisions of the board related to the Low Income Housing Tax Credits saying all of the decisions have been in accordance with IRS regulations. Coretech will now be building a total of 151 low income housing units by December of 2014."

Guahu Taotao Tåno

I am proud of who I am. I am proud of where I came from. I will not in any way diminish or water-down who I am and where I came from.

Yes I am from Guam. But I do not consider myself “Guamanian.” I am Chamorro. I was born on this land and will die on this land. My children will as well as my grandchildren and my future great-grandchildren.

Nobody should ever take that away from me or anyone else, especially any elected leader.

I have friends who are proud Filipinos.

Proud Japanese.

Proud Pohnpeians.

Proud Palauans.

And it goes on and on.

They live on Guam just like us but they too are proud of their heritage.

As Governor, it is your duty to preserve and promote the native Culture. Not pretend it doesn’t exist and try and take away our proud heritage.

The Race is on!

PACIFIC NEWS CENTER

From the PNC Website:
Guam - Carl Gutierrez and Gary Gumataotao tonight made official what the whole island has known since at least the start of this month. They are the Democratic Gubernatorial team for Governor and Lt. Governor.

They made it official before a crowd of supporters at the Sinajana home of the former two-term Governor.

"Look at the feeling tonight," said Gutierrez. "Look at the hearts coming here. Your going to see over a thousand people here tonight."

They're getting a late start, against a formidable incumbent team, that has deep pockets. But Gutierrez said he is not fazed, and expressed confidence in victory.

"The campaign's not late. We don't have to file until July 1st. We don't have as much money as the other side does .. but we don't need it. We got legs. We got volunteers ... I'm more than confident," he said.

Referring to Dave Brat's recent defeat of former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Gutierrez said "We're going to replicate what happened to Cantor," by running a grass roots campaign, in the homes and villages around the island.

Later in the evening, Gutierrez took the stage, doing a 2-step as he did, to the familiar campaign theme song "Your Still the One."

"You know I won't be able to live with myself if I don't step up to the fight," declared Gutierrez. "This is a fight that I want to be able to continue until the day I die ... I am the last grass roots Governor your going to ever see."

640-Gutierrez-and-Gumataota

Democratic Lt. Gubernitorial candidiate Gary Gumataotao:

When he took the microphone, in his first public comments on his candidacy for Lt. Governor, Gary Gumataotao declared "I have a passion for the people, just like Governor Gutierrez. We're a team. I'll back him 100% because its all for you. That's the only reason I'm running. I guarantee you its not for the money and its not for the ego," he said.

Gumataotao spoke about the need to create more jobs.

"The people of Guam are suffering right now," he said. "I have people that come to see me everyday because they have no money, because they have no job. Don't tell me times are better, because they're not. There better for some people," said Gumataotao. "People need jobs, they need to be paid fair wages."

And he suggested that there was some discontent in the island's business community, accusing the Calvo Administration of favoring some, over others, in the awarding of contracts.

"Business people want to make money. They don't like it when they are unfairly treated because somebody else gets the contract, somebody else gets the bid, somebody else is fixing it because its only going into one pocket," he said.

"You see the signs out they say "The Right Direction'. I'll tell you the right direction is for them to leave Adelup," he said.

Perez and Underwood Chair and Vice-Chair of the Campaign:

Kin Perez, who recently retired as Congresswoman Bordallo's Senior Policy Advisor has taken on the role of campaign Chairman for the Gutierrez/Gumataotao ticket. Vice Chair is former DOE Superintendent Nerissa Underwood who, Perez said, has agreed to make a run for the Legislature.

Incumbent Democratic Senators also took the stage. Speaker Judi Won Pat, Vice-Speaker B.J. Cruz, Senators Rory Respicio, Frank Aguon Jr., Tom Ada, Mike San Nicolas made remarks. Former Senator Adolpho Palacios and Judi Guthertz spoke as well, along with new comers like Attorney John Terlaje who is running for the Legislature and Matt Areto, who is challenging Congresswoman Bordallo for her seat.

Many of them spoke about what they said was the Democratic Party's renewed commitment to party unity. Notable in that regard was the presence of former Party Chairman Tony Charfarous, who did not support Gutierrez in the last campaign.

Tonight, Charfauros took the stage and pledged his support. "I'm sure many of you are surprised that I'm here," he said.

"I'm here because I want to make sure that the Democratic party wins Adelup," said Charfauros.

Strings Attached

Numerous reports are flooding in that Guam Housing Corporation President Martin Benavente personally asks to see all constituents being provided a service by the GHC and makes them agree to support the Calvo Tenorio Campaign before he signs off on their lease or loan documents.
He also makes them agree to put a sign up on their property.
I’m thinking the federal government that gives GHC so much funding would be interested. They can probably just ask for the audio recording and I am sure they won’t have any problems getting cooperation from the eager employees wanting to get rid of this director who is risking all the good work those employees have done over the years.

Tsk tsk.

This is the man CT Celebrates

200-year-old Mayor Ben Gumataotao is being heralded as the new face of the Calvo Tenorio campaign (I know) for brutally attacking his son publicly. Now that is something to cheer about isn’t it?

His face is flashing across all the Calvo Tenorio ads, banners, signs and videos.

All of this hoopla about May Ben Gumataotao reminds me of the hoopla surrounding his very public political scandals as well. Such as his arrest in 2006 for allegedly kissing a 14-year-old girl in his mayoral office.

His response? “She kissed me.” Okay, let’s just let that one sink in for a minute (see picture above).

According to the news, the Piti Mayor was arrested by officers with the Guam Police Department's Hagatna Precinct and accused of inappropriately kissing a 14-year-old female minor twice. He was arrested on two counts of CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT for allegedly kissing the summer youth employee working in his office. The Mayor was asked by KUAM for a comment on his arrest and said: “No, I'll try not to. I'll embarrass her. I don't want to...I'm trying to live peacefully in the world. Gosh, I was shaking. I never been handcuffed in my life. Not in my life. It's just shocking, really. She kissed me. First time I've ever seen her.”Apparently kissing is his passion and he does not distinguish between old, young, male an female He offered to do the same to Mangilao Mayor Nito Blas after jumping up and punching him during a televised public hearing.

Click this link below to see the Punching Piti Patriarch.
Mayor Ben Fighting

Mayor Ben Gumataotao said:
From now I’m not going to touch him. I will just kiss him. Maybe he will accept that. I will still greet him.”

Advice: STOP THE KISSING. Stop the attacking and for goodness sakes Calvo Tenorio STOP embracing this wacky old man.

Just Because

BRING IT.

Right out of the gate an Calvo Tenorio is attacking a beloved leader who accomplished more than Eddie Calvo ever could in a lifetime.
Let's be clear here. Eddie you wish you could have the record of Governor Camacho. A man, who like Governor Gutierrez, always puts the people of Guam first. He is a true man of faith who would get down on his knees and pray before making critical decisions. And always it was based on what is best for all the people of Guam. Unlike now, when decisions are made on whether the Calvo enterprise clan can bring in the most money, making millions more off the government every single day while we suffer.
SO, your campaign tactic is to attack this Great Leader? Right out of the gate? You are so proud of your new commercial attacking Governor Camacho that you posted it on your FB page and YouTube.
Click below for this sickening campaign commercial.
Calvo Bashes Governor Camacho
So Eddie, what happened to your promise to keep this campaign clean? Or does that not apply to great leaders who came before you? Instead of attacking Governor Camacho, why don't you learn from him? Learn how to be gracious, kind, caring, compassionate and a steward of the island and the government.

Governor Gutierrez on the air

A great interview. Listen to this....

My Hero

Guam Blog

This guy is my hero. When my blog grows up it wants to be just like him. Please vote Romeo Carlos for Senator.

I'm Back

The Calvo Tenorio Team has me kicked off Facebook but that's okay.
I'm BACK!
What are they scared of? The truth?

REMATCH! But no cheating this time

Wow I had forgot how close the last race was. Of course we later learned of the vote buying and rigging that took place. And of course Ray Tenorio's private security firm was hired to "guard" the ballots. Here is to hoping this coming election is fair and Calvo Tenorio doesn't play dirty tricks at the polls again. We DEMAND a fair election!

THE "SPIN" OF THE OVERPAID ADELUP IDIOTS

mobile@guampdn.com (BREAKING NEWS) $6M in tax refunds will be mailed out on Saturday. Go to www.guampdn.com Okay this is what's called SPIN. When a public figure has something bad happen then his minions create what's called SPIN to try and make the audience forget the bad think that happened to the public figure. In this case, Eddie Calvo got his ass handed to him by the Supreme Court of Guam who spanked his hand for putting it into the tax refund trust cookie jar. No no no little Eddie- the justices said. Quite embarrassing and a blow to his whole "I'm the king of tax refunds propaganda" so what happens is his idiot minions gather in a room (please tell me if you want me to name their names) and plot their "SPIN." Option 1 - cut GPD overtime checks (but Idiot minion #1 points out that only cops care about that). Option 2 - let's coordinate and announce a Summer Fun program for kids at Adelup grounds (but idiot Minion #2 says that will take too long to announce we need something NOW). Option 3 - take the money we were going to use for GPD overtime and repairs to schools and push out tax returns. Bravo bravo bravo! Order is given, announcement made and now the folks at rev and tax are thinking WTF? How come nobody told us? Ladies and gentlemen that's the SPIN - announcing tax refunds hoping you will forget that Eddie Calvo just got slammed for raiding the Tax Refund Trust. And that's all I've got to say about that!

Let me beat 10

To the man drinking the Pepsi-Koolaide in this article - here is my list buddy. Glad you paid the back taxes on all your land. Most of us don't have that "problem" because we aren't rich enough to afford land. Here is my list you arrogant fool.

1. The Calvo Selectcare Contract has crushed the financial stability of this government making the Governor and his family millions of dollars while the rest of us suffer
 2. Department of Corrections - under this Administration the prison has been run into the ground, murderers escaping, guards being stabbed, civil Rights being violated. (See number 1 on why there is no money)
3. Too stubborn to follow previous governor's plan on Guam Museum so he moved it to Skinner Plaza against everyone's advice and now construction pilings are damaged and sinking into the swamp land. Wasting millions of dollars.
4. Guam police are being ignored and having to go to Department of Labor to file complaints to get their overtime.
5. Fred Bordallo chief of police is incompetent (see above) and is tearing apart the police morale
6. Port Authority of Guam fiasco
7. Crime is at an all-time high (see #5)
8. His borrowing to pay campaign promises has left this government to be burdened with a massive billions in debt for our children and grandchildren
9. Promises to fix GMH were false - Still crumbling, not enough beds, no doctors for house calls and he fired Bank of Guam President Lou Leon Guerrero who was doing a good job
10. Government contracts are being funneled to his family and even to his family through the lt governor's wife's law partner
11. Ray Tenorio. Enough said there.
12. His main achievements are cutting ribbons on projects began by previous governor's
13. He is not actually the Governor - his cousin and family runs this government.
14. More people are on welfare now under his Administration than ever before.
15. Broken promises such as his promise he wouldn't hire deputy directors. Funny. Some agencies even have 2 deputy directors.
16. Ray Tenorio. Yeah I know but it's worth repeating.
17. Tax credits being illegally given to companies affiliated with his family business empire further eroding our government finances but at least they are being investigated by the Feds
18. Giving raises to his directors who are already overpaid - political patronage at its best
19. Dirty dealings at the airport - okay everyone please say it together - LOTTE
20. If we give this man four more years the rich will continue to get richer while the poor will continue to suffer. The "haves" are the only ones that matter and the "have nots" are ignored.
21. Whistle blowers are retaliated against for speaking up
22. This governor and his cronies have instilled such a sense of fear into government workers that they are afraid to speak up. OUR PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO FEAR THEIR GOVERNMENT AND THEIR LEADERS.

There is so much more but I figured it is a good start.

 Did I mention Ray Tenorio?

Calvo Animal Clinic Succeeds

So I'm sitting here watching the Legislative hearing on the Calvo Tenorio administration mistreatment of Dr. Joseph and his Wise Owl Clinic and a brilliant idea popped into my head (please note that these brilliant ideas often pop into my head as well as the many voices but that's another matter). Anyway, Dr. Joseph should simply change the name of his clinic to "Calvo Wise Owl Clinic" and all his problems will go away and he will get his license, his quarantine clinic and probably even be given all government contracts that have to do with animal care. See! I told you it was brilliant.
